Rates for Personalized Counseling Services
Understand my straightforward rates for personalized counseling services.
Rates
I charge $150 per 55-minute session. In certain circumstances, you may qualify for a lower fee.
Accepted Payments
I currently accept payment via cash, check, debit/credit card, or an HSA/FSA card, Zelle, Square invoice, or Venmo at the end of every session.
Out of Network Billing
Although I am not currently accepting your insurance, you may still be able to receive a reimbursement. If you receive Out of Network (OON) benefits from your insurance coverage, I can offer a receipt with appropriate details for you to request reimbursement from your insurance carrier if applicable.
Cancellations
Please note there is a strict 24-hr cancellation policy. In the event that you will be unable to keep an appointment, please provide notice, written or verbal, at least 24 hours in advance, if possible. Missed appointments or cancellations without 24-hour notice will be billed for the full session fee.
Good Faith Estimate Notice
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.
Under the law, healthcare providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.
You can ask your healthcare provider and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
